Screencast

Aww man, there's gonna be a huge hole in my podcast listening at work (but thankfully there are still hilarious articles to read). Hope you and Joey can cook something up, that would be fun.

ask Jeff, he's gotta a lot of podcast mics lying around.

I'm bummed, but I support Rorie 100%. I wouldn't even be on Screened if it wasn't for his awesome rapport with the community since day 1.

We're all here with ya, Rorie. I feel like we need a State of Screened Address at some point, though, because there's a lot of confusion surrounding the site and its future.

No, it doesn't make ANY sense. If anything, I'm pretty shocked to hear that Rorie has basically been left without a jar to piss in after this transaction. First Alex is gone, then Rorie is left hanging on what is going on, and now he's trying to run a website but isn't being given the tools necessary in order to do that as well as he could. Honestly, it's pretty fucked up!

It feels like the attention that Screened deserves just isn't being given to it. Hell, the old Whiskey Media footer is still on the site!

I'm going to assume that there are plans underway for the site...but it kind of sucks how it seems like this is becoming a time capsule more than a progression forward for a fantastic site.

@jakob187: It seems like something big is going to change, like when tomshardware.com got bought out. The site is going to die, I am dreading.

I used to listed every week but I've not listened for a while because I didn't want any Walking Dead spoilers but I've been saving them up. I hope it's back by the time I catch up.

I meant it made sense that he shouldn't do a podcast on his own. I agree with all your points and with todays announcement we at least now know what's up.
