IT IS FUN TO BE ON TV WE WILL SMILE
IT IS FUN TO BE ON TV WE WILL SMILE

What is this? What precisely is this? Is ABC really dedicating two hours to something that looks like it should be on VH1 at two in the morning? Is anyone really still talking about that Kardashian wedding? Do I really need two hours to remind me of how crappy this year was? How many questions can I ask in a paragraph before it starts to become obnoxious? Anyway, if you give a shit, The Year With Katie Couric is on ABC tonight at 9.

Anyway, lots of reruns on tonight, with NBC's comedy block entirely re-runned, and Bones also in the same boat. Also, I've decided I won't talk about The X-Factor anymore. Thank me later.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

FX 10 PM: SEASON FINALE! "The gang hatches a plan to repair their tarnished image in the eyes of their old high school classmates." And so we venture into the wasteland of another 9 months without any It's Always Sunny.

The League

FX 10:30 PM: "Pete's new girlfriend wants to help him with his line up; Kevin's past at the DA's office has him running scared; auto-correct gets everybody in trouble." Oh, that wacky auto-correct! Is it just me, or do most of those 'hey, look at this hilarious autocorrect mishap' images just look to be not-very-well faked? "Oh, grandma, I meant to say 'have a good day,' not 'I like anal sex!'" How wacky!

Beavis and Butt-Head

MTV 10 PM: "The boys take a used car salesman on a joyride; Beavis and Butt-head decide to become bounty hunters." That...that sounds like a plan that could have no possible ill effects. At all.

Burn Notice

USA 10 PM: SEASON FINALE: "The team reaches a breaking point with Anson; Pearce puts Michael in charge of a big mission; Sam and Fiona run reconnaissance." Reminds me of the time I reached a breaking point with Anson.

Person of Interest

CBS 9 PM: "Detective Carter faces fallout from her encounter with Reese and Finch; the machine comes up with not one, but four Social Security numbers." Will the four SS numbers somehow wind up corresponding with people who don't know each other, only to have their connection revealed as the episode winds on? Your guess is as good as mine!

A Charlie Brown Christmas

ABC 8 PM: Two more week before we never have to see Charlie Brown again until next December, when ABC will no doubt be playing these specials every day again. That sentence hurt me to write as much as it hurt you to read, probably.

Prime Suspect

NBC 10 PM: "Jane and Blando investigate the death of a Jewish diamond dealer; Matt celebrates his new job with Jane." According to wikipedia, this show is going to go off the air in a few weeks, so obviously now is the time to start catching up and getting attached to it.

Man, Auto Tune the news was so great. Too bad they haven't made a new one in awhile.

Always Sunny will be missed, this season has been mostly excellent.

You know, I used to be such a huge fan of It's Always Sunny. But around that Liberty Bell episode, I finally realized that the show had become total garbage.

Looking forward to Beavis and Butt-head though. That show has remained incredibly solid all season long. Oh, and a heads up for Canadians (not sure if it's the same in the States), there is a second new episode of Beavis and Butt-head on after the first one.

@Chop: Liberty Bell ep wasn't great, but it's more than picked up since then. People give the seventh season a lot of crap, but aside from one or two meh episodes, it's one of their stronger seasons. But of course, I'm a late adopter of the show, so I went through seasons 1-6 in a couple of weeks and loved every minute of it.

Always Sunny has been great this entire season, Thunder Gun Express being a highlight.
