Rorie's out sick today, so you're stuck with me writing all the fun stuff for the rest of today's incredibly slow news day. This means more dick jokes than you're perhaps accustomed to on a Wednesday, as well as me taking over today's What to Watch. Considering I normally take Tuesdays and weekends, looking at Wednesday night programming is like opening up one of those giant treasure chests in The Legend of Zelda only to get...a rupee worth 10 rupees. To be fair, Tuesday night programming is like opening up the aforementioned chest, only to have Dodongo pop out and kick you in the junk (dick joke number one!), so hey, it's an improvement either way.
Let's get on with it.
| The People's Choice Awards 9PM - CBS - I guess Kaley Cuoco is popular enough now that her hosting awards shows is a thing that is acceptable? Great. I guess. Anyway, if you want to watch her give a bunch of statues to the cast of Twilight and also Drake, then by all means, watch this. | |
| Modern Family 9PM - ABC - Mitch and Cam attempt to impress potential birth mothers, which I expect will result in hilarious antics, of sorts. Look, the plots to this show barely matter. It's consistently funny. That's all we can ask from an ABC sitcom these days. | |
| Happy Endings 9:30PM - ABC - Both Michael McKean and Megan Mullally guest star on this show that I swear to god I will watch some day, since people keep telling me it's good. It's hard to believe, but my defenses are beginning to wear down. | |
| Are You There, Chelsea? 8:30PM - NBC - Finally, that prime time dose of Chelsea Handler we've all been desperately clamoring for. She plays her older sister, while Laura Prepon plays a younger Chelsea. All I know from watching these ads is that I really miss redheaded Laura Prepon. | |
| Law & Order: Special Victims Unit 10PM - NBC - Ice-T's wife Coco guest stars as a performance artist who finds herself actually raped during a production in which a bunch of dudes with masks pretend to rape her. That must have been a really delightful episode for Ice to shoot. | |
| Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy 9PM - History Channel - Oh good, apparently this show did well enough to warrant a second season. In tonight's premiere, I have no idea what happens because I didn't even bother to look at the description. Just...no. | |
| Face Off 10PM - SyFy - Season premiere! In which more make-up artists make more make-up, and win stuff. Did I miss anything with this one? No. Okay then. |
