There's a lot of things I like. I like pizza, I like people who read my seldom read blog posts, and I also like the trifecta of Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Edgar Wright making awesome film. Well, thanks to the wonders of Twitter, it seems that the trio will be back to complete what has been known as the "Blood and Ice cream" trilogy.
You see, this makes me smile gleefully. Being a big fan of the three since their early days with Spaced, each subsequent collaboration has been just as great, if not better (though it hurts not having a big Jessica Stevenson presence on screen). There were painful rumours of after Paul, that was it. That was the trilogy, out with a whimper. Now, that would probably suck considering how mediocre the movie was, but also the distinct lack of Edgar Wright-isms, Pegg's hair-do, and the exclusion of any FUCKING BLOOD OR ICE CREAM.
I'm taking Pegg's twitter feed as fact. World's End will get made and it will be delightful, like Shaun of the Dead and like Hot Fuzz before it.
