I like these videos. The looping idle videos are amazing.

Videos are really good but I find it a bit wierd how Ryan does intros and outros, and most of the filler, should that not be Rorie's place as it is on screened.

I agree with Rorie that Harold and Kumar will beat Tower Heist. I think it will draw the college crowd like no ones business.

I hope Harold & Kumar outdoes Tower Heist. I really do.

@mattjam3000: It's not really a big deal IMO. Ryan seems more comfortable doing that stuff.

These are two movies that could really do anything money wise; I'll be really curious to see who comes out on top this week.

The problem with stoner movies: The target audience is too busy getting high to check the release schedule.

However, since I don't blaze, I'll be checking it out tonight.

I overestimated as well last week.

Tower Heist: I'm with Rorie here. This movie is going to bomb, and it's lame title isn't helping. I think it might make around $21 million. I think that black audiences are a wildcard here. I can't predict whether Eddie Murphy will still draw out a lot of black moviegoers or not. In this case, he's not the main dude either, so it's a tough call.

Harold & Kumar: I'm with Ryan. They've been advertising it quite a bit, but it's not going to get huge numbers that bring it close to $20 million. NPH is a good draw, and it will be somewhere in the $16-17 million range. I would totally go see this, but I won't. I suspect a lot of people will feel the same way.

Huh, I just took the middle guesses, so I'm sure to be wrong.

@mattjam3000: I agree with @Blubba. I think Matt doesn't like being a presenter and appreciates the break he gets with Ryan doing this. When Alex was still located in SF he was the presenter of most things screened. Matt kinda has no choice but to do it now though.

Why do they always say movies are getting good reviews when they are actually "average" - like around 50 on metacritic?

Week 4 already, wow Norm killing it.

C'MON RYAN, I KNOW YOU CAN PULL THIS OUT

I think that tends to be in greater reference to Rotten Tomatoes than Metacritic. For instance, Tower Heist currently has a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes, whereas it has a 59 on Metacritic.

I'm gonna be going to see Harold and Kumar as soon as possible, but I agree that it's not going to touch Tower Heist

I think Ryan is better at that kind of thing than Matt even though Matt is the full-time Screened guy.

Yeah, Ryan is Whiskey Media's resident "host guy," because he's good at it.

@mattjam3000:

As dude above me said, Ryan appears to be whiskey media's resident host. He hosted the happy hours as well as both BLLSL.
