Before I begin I would like to say the first Happy feet was actually pretty good. It had a nice mix of comedic action, music, and real suspense. Don't get me wrong the plot was pretty weak, but the animation and personalities made it worth watching. So when I say that the trailers I have seen for Happy Feet Two reminds me of a stupid cash out of a decent movie, I hope you know what I mean. first: what the hell are seals doing as good guys. The only sense of real suspense came from the idea that seals are nasty vicious killers. Second: From what I gather the hero from the first film is a father yet he still has his juvenile plumage. In the first movie you could track the growth of that character by how much of his juvenile plumage had been lost, however somehow he retains the soft fluffy white overcoat over his entire body for this film. Also he is an adult capable of having children. The biologist in me screams why; Maybe the voice acting isn't enough to prove that it is the same penguin? Third: Boobies, (not those kind) really a north pole bird in the south pole (I know biology geek coming out again).
Granted my points are based off a trailer and the movie might be fun, but I dont think so.
