Anyway, don't get me wrong, I think Alex is a great dude, I'm just not sure if he qualifies for deity status just yet.

You got mentioned on " Quick and Dirty: The Last Airbender Part 2" at about the 5 minute mark.

Again, all I can do is point out that 10% rottentomatoes ranking for Grown Ups and say that, even though there are people who will enjoy the movie (perhaps even a large number of people), I am at least in line with the critical zeitgeist on it. I mean, this is a movie where Adam Sandler sticks his finger in Rob Schneider's butthole in the parking lot of a church while waiting for a funeral to start. I'm not surprised to hear that people think it's hilarious; I am, however, somewhat disappointed.

Personally, I haven't seen the movie, but the trailer wasn't interesting in any way.  I didn't crack a laugh once, and that's saying a lot when I can attest to being something of a Sandler fan. 
 
With that said, I don't know who I should trust:  the 10% of good reviews for the movie that still teeter on saying that the movie isn't that good but rather that it's endearing...or the 90% that thought it was utter tripe typical "comedy" garbage?

Film is a subjective medium, what are you going to do?

Any film that has something like this is not exactly a shining light in the cinematic world. It is not a modern day Citizen Kane. I haven't like Adam Sandler since I was in my early teens and Happy Gilmore came out and it was sort of funny to an immature teenager. Grown Ups just sounds and looks awful

maybe cause it is not only poorly made, its incredibly insulting and offensive.

You can't argue with facts. You can argue with someone's opinion, but when it comes to someone's opinion, you cannot be wrong. Reviews are just carefully worded opinions.
