I am finding it rather amusing there are little to no women actually getting upset over Alex's comments.

Have you ever BEEN on the internet? Is there internet in the kitchen? (Couldn't help myself)

Ima burn yo eggs mate.

...For some reason my legs just crossed. Maybe it's cause the Spanish word for eggs is the same as...well anyway, moving right along, how about them ladies? They sure can vote!

@Mistress_Redhead: Never seen it! I actually thought of referencing the Tool "song" "Eggs of Satan," which is a pastry recipe spoken entirely in German where each line ends with "AND NO EGGS!" but I wasn't sure if that applied to German as well.

You should. Great film! I know the song... it fits too.

@Hailinel: And you absolutely have the right to have that opinion. But maybe there was a nicer way to communicate it?

Perhaps, though honestly I see what I said as no more or less crass than how Alex would normally express his disdain for something.

The difference is in intent. Alex is sarcastic and joking most of the time while you're just trying to be hurtful and rude.

@yoshimitz707 Alex's sarcasm is frequently caustic and insulting. I'm no fan of Twilight, for example and feel that the series is very deserving if criticism, but making fun of the fans as he does is no less rude.
