Francis Barton

Background

Francis was left behind by Tony Stark when he rescued the remaining Avenger children. His father Hawkeye survived Ultrons attack and began to raise and train his son. After his father is killed by Ultron Francis takes on the mantle of Hawkeye and leader of the resistance.

Major Plots

Avenging his father

Hawkeye unknowningly rescues the Avenger children after Torunn charges into battle without thinking. Using guerila tactics he saves the kids from Ultrons clutches. He is shocked to find out they know who his father is. His father thought he was the only Avenger left. After trying to disuade his new friends from saving Tony Stark he takes them to the Citadel but warns them he will not rescue them. After Ultron springs his trap though Barton appears and once again saves them from certain death. His personality like his fathers dosen't jive well with Tony Starks nearly hitting him when he reveals that he created Ultron. The younger Barton calms down after Stark tells him exactly what his father would of done to him.

After rigging up a transport Hawkeye joins the team in search of the Hulk.Despite earlyier friction with James Rogers, Barton goes on easily with the plan to call Ultron to the Hulk. During the battle with the Iron Avengers Barton has the most early sucess by taking out the mechanical Hawkeyes bow. This sucess is short lived though as the robotic version forms another bow on his remaining good arm. With Ultrons defeat he joins the rest of the kid Avengers to take out the remaining robotic forces.

Personality and Traits

Barton like his father is extremly good with a bow able to fire multiple airrows and various trick arrows.Like his father his personality is that of a leader which leads to frction when he meets the Avenger children.He is a natrual leader,leading the human resistance against Ultron. That leadership makes him come off as cold and indifferent to new people when he first meets them but after getting to know them he beings to open up.
