The E.E.S company hires a popular actor, Ricky Coogan, to be their spokesman when the public becomes alarmed about a toxic substance they produce called Zygrot-27. Ricky's own investigation leads him to a freak show where secretly the freaks are created using Zygrot-27...and he may be next.
The idea for the film came from Alex Winter and Tom Stern's MTV show "The Idiot Box."
