THE Screened Review by Matt Rorie
"Remake" doesn't have to be a dirty word, as this surprisingly well-done vampire flick aims to prove. |

Remake of the 1985 comedy-horror about a teenager who discovers his neighbor is a vampire and must kill him before he kills himself, his mother and his girlfriend.
Chris Sarandon, who played Jerry Danridge in the original Fright Night, makes a cameo appearance as an unsuspecting driver who falls victim to Colin Farrell's Jerry.
There are a couple bits of dialogue that are direct nods to the original, most of the plot unfolds in the same way.
