What the Season 3 Green Light Means (CONTAINS ALL BOOK SPOILERS)

Seriously. If you haven't read all the books, leave this thread immediately. You have been warned.

Especially with GRRM's confirmation that the third season will be about half the book, this means we will see the Red Wedding, which will be both heartbreaking and amazing. I'm absolutely certain the season will end on a cliffhanger with that scene.

Hm, "Red" you say. I'm currently reading the third book and it certainly feels like it's going to lead to this red "thing." I'm over a fourth through the third book right now so I guess I should expect this soon.

I'll be curious to see if the red wedding happens in season 3 or 4, it happens at the beginning of part 2 in the books, but it would be a great way to end season 3, really give everyone a taste of what they felt when Ned died
