Godzilla (1998)

Edit this Page
Roland Emmerich Director previously directed Independence Day

Roland Emmerich's American adaptation of the popular Japanese films, a dinosaur-like Godzilla attacks New York City. While the military tries to take on the beast, a scientist believes they may have to deal with more than one.

Trivia:

The scene where Godzilla breathes on a bunch of cars and they explode is a reference to the Japanese Godzilla's trademark atomic breath energy beam. The American version does not have this power.
