Trivia:

The faux trailer for the fictional film "Machete" inspired the production of the 2010 Danny Trejo film of the same name.

Reference: Spy Kids

Danny Trejo plays a character named Machete in a fake trailer. Robert Rodriguez wrote and directed the trailer as well. The original Grindhouse trailer (under the title screen) is registered to "Machete's Body Shop". This was also the name of Trejo's Spy Kids character's business.
