A bafflingly bad conclusion to an otherwise stellar trilogy, Spider-Man 3 is definitely only half-good.
Video posted by JoeyF on Feb. 21, 2012
Peter Parker is forced to contend with Sandman, Venom and his old nemesis Harry Osborne, all the while dealing with the curious powers granted to him by a mysterious black entity and his relationship troubles with Mary Jane Watson. Life ain't easy for a superhero.

Anyone else having some strange goings on with this video?
@PilotXIan: How so?
This movie just about broke my heart after how stellar the previous movie had been.
OK without even having watched the video, I find it hilarious that Spider-Man 2 gets a Bestie while it's following sequel gets featured on Half-Good. Kinda puts the parallel of quality of these movies into perspective. Nice.
Bryce Dallas Howard is pretty damn beautiful as a blond. I still prefer her as a redhead though and the same goes for Emma Stone of course.
But yeah, Spider-Man 3 is pretty damn terrible. It really seemed as if Sam Raimi just didn't care and wanted out of the whole franchise.
I'm really hoping Amazing Spider-Man is good, because I could use a really good Spidey movie. Never did care for Dunst, and Tobey was average at best, and well Rorie is spot on about Spider-Man 3.

Yeah, keeps jumping to the next video in the playlist at random moments.

Yeah I agree with every point you made.
@ElectricBoogaloo: Hmmmm, I can't seem to locate what the issue is.
Can anyone else confirm this, or give me an idea of what the video setting are that's causing it.
@JoeyF: The first time I got about 2 minutes in before it happened. Since then I've skipped ahead to where I was at and it's done it again after 30 seconds or so.
I hated this movie when I saw it on opening day. It took an additional 2 or 3 viewings (my 9 year old nephew loves the trilogy) for me to finally see past this movie's flaws. It's not the best of the Raimi trilogy, but it's not that bad either.
All the way looking forward to Emma Stone as Stacy! I liked the first two movies quite a bit especially 2 because Doc Oc and his tritium are crazy, but I am glad those movies created an environment for other comic book movies to come about...I liked Iron Man more...
Yet if Cage played Emo Spider-Man it would be hailed as the greatest movie of all time.
This movie is definitely half good, I think if you cut all the symbiont parts it would have actually been a pretty good film.
@JoeyF: Upon hitting play I get to see all of about a seconds worth of the intro "Screened Feature" before it jumps to the next video on the playlist. Do you need any kind of info, Browser, Flash version etc?
My opinion of the Rami trilogy has always been that he was fantastic at casting villains. Even in this movie when forced to throw in one that he didn't want (Venom). I felt that Topher Grace did alright even though he wasn't the same Eddie Brock as in the comics. My problem was always with the protagonists in the series. Peter Parker is a nerd, but not a sad, self-hating nerd. Parker was always a smart ass with a chip on his shoulder, and always found a way to win by not getting bogged down. Toby in all three movies was a little soft and seemed like he was the guy that needed rescuing. This movie kind of brought all of these problems with Maguire to the front. Actually always thought that Topher Grace would have been a great choice for Spiderman in the first place.
It would have made sense just to have New Goblin has the only villain in the movie. That way it can wrap up all the storylines that was in the first two and have a more satisfying conclusion.
