Intergalactic wars fought between clones and robots and Jedi? Cool! Insipid love story and horrid dialogue? Well...
Video posted by JoeyF on Feb. 7, 2012
The first movie to be shot entirely with digital cameras, the second episode in the Star Wars saga tells the story of a Senator and a Jedi, forbidden to be with each other, who fall in love as a war breaks out in the galaxy.

All the romance parts are really cringe worthy but I enjoyed the action parts well enough.
Anakin 'bipolar' nature I could get given the whole star wars stable of force + emotions = bad stuff but Padme sticking around after he goes on a Sand people killing spree very off putting. RUN AWAY WOMEN.

So was I. And I completely agree. This is the worst.
Though the prequels are bad I find Revenge of the Sith to be a great action movie with plenty of death. I cant watch this movie and i dislike episode 1 far too much but Revenge isnt the worst thing to happen. Sure the story bits are rubbish and the imperials are as evil as someone dumped before a high school dance it is flashy
Every time the two love birds talked to each other I wish Samuel L Jackson would show up and pimp slap them. That would make the movie more entertaining.
Rather than half-good this, and the other prequels, is just all bad.

The acting may be bad in Episode 2, but I have never felt the urge to kill a child actor as much as in Episode 1, he actually spilled his awful onto the good parts of the film for me.
I disagree with anyone who hates the Prequels. I still think this is a great movie despite stumbling a few times over the course of its runtime. This is most definitely not the worst Star Wars film. The Phantom Menace is the worst Star Wars although it does have several redeeming factors.
Admit it, that love theme by John Williams is the best thing he's done in some 15 years.
Also, the design of the film, from the characters and worlds is so good, that it's still being replicated, most noticeably with the upcoming John Carter.
Other than that though, the most forgettable of the Star Wars movies. Not the worst, just the one that I remember the least despite having viewed it several times when I was younger.
I'm confused...how can a 100% terrible movie be 1/2 good? :p
I think Red Letter Media explained this gem completely.
For those who haven't seen them...

I've seen all of the Star Wars movies, but I wouldn't call myself a huge fan. I like the original trilogy, but damnit man, how could they not do better than Hayden Christensen?
I haven't watched this movie in a LOOOOOONG time.
But what were those comments on democracy Lucas apparently said ?
To this day I have still never walked out of a movie, but Attack of the Clones was the closest I'd ever come. There was a moment where I had to just walk out into the lobby, not to get some snacks or get some air or make a call, but just simply because I had to be away from that film for a few minutes before I could possibly go back to watching more of it.
I used to think this was the worst of the series, until I had to see Jake Lloyd again. He kills Episode 1 for me in a way that almost makes me suicidal. All parts of Episode 2 are still terrible though.
More like no good, am I right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Fuck critical thinking!!!!!!
I can see how there are good parts to this movie (I think Red Letter Media was being a little unfair in his review) but I'm definitely not a huge fan. Episode 1 is the bad one for me. I can barely remember any part of it.
Man, I think Episode I is better. I don't despise Ep II but I don't think it's especially good in any regard. 2/5 personally.
I saw this a couple of times in the theater. The second time was at a theater with THX surround. When Jango sets of the mine in the asteroid, it went from the back corner speakers outward. Still one of the most amazing sound effects that I've ever heard.
Damn right. In my review of this it can be summed up as the best parts of this movie is when no one talks. So So True
Ep1 > Ep2 search yourself you no it to be true.
Also Hayden Christianson is annoying
I have to do the same of skipping forward each time its Anakin and Padme. Simplu cant watch those parts, while i want to watch everything else.
