I'd say no good, but that's just me.

Also, Quest complete.

I really like this movie, I wish it had a sequel with massive improvements

And yeah the games were awesome

That tea cup scene always makes me laugh

I like both Pitch Black and this a lot, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I enjoy Chronicles a great deal more.

Agreed, and the worst part of this movie is Thandie Newton and her damn boyfriend, it annoyed me everytime they came in

I actually really liked the Roman Empire-inspired gothic design of the ships and sets of the Necromungers; it was the costumes I found to be ridiculous. And of course, the dialog is terrible and Thandie Newton is the worst part of this film. I really think the unsung performance of the movie is the one given by Nick Chinlund as Toombs. Hell, if the film was just about Toombs trying to catch Riddick, I would imagine it being awesome. As a fan of Pitch Black, I would like it if they made a sequel more in the spirit of that.

I can't argue with what's bad with the movie.. but I love it all the same.

Tea cup!

There are so many amazing parts in this feature, especially the end.

I've only played Escape from Butcher Bay, but I'd be willing to watch this with a couple of friends.

As always, amazing job Alex and Joey.

I like this film but I do not like the elementals or any of the Furyan species. They seem like a bit of a leap too far. The Furyan prophecy stuff it degrades the character of Riddick in my opinion, turning an unpredictable bad ass who survives by himself and with himself into a guy who is already destined to defeat the enemy no matter what happens simply because he was born that way.
The style of the villains was cool as hell in my opinion there outfits were a bit over the top though. I had read that Karl Urban wanted his role so bad he wrote back story for his character before auditioning, its a pity is character comes off as so boring because Urban is a talented actor. I thought it also got a bit tiring listening to brooding Riddick compared to the more light hearted but totally creepy Riddick of the first film. Still I think its a pretty good film and that tea cup bit always gets mentioned and is one of the first things I think of when I think Riddick, that and the amazingly good game.

It's getting one focusing more on Riddick and less of an epic scale.

I can't disagree with this video but I really like the movie.

I liked Chronicles of Riddick.

I enjoyed enough parts of this film and the Riddick character to bother watching it a few times.

But it's pretty sad to see that Pitch Black offers a more enjoyable experience in my opinion as it's was also a far cheaper film to make. I'm glad they've moved to a smaller scale again for the next film.

Good choice. I half-dig this movie myself.  Riddick is a really great anti-hero creation but the Underverse plot was completely unnecessary. The entire film should have been set on Crematoria.

Yeah but hasn't that been announced for years and is waiting for the green light and some funding? Or do you have a link with additional info?
Froghourton May 14, 2011 at 9:07 a.m.
Oh god yes. I love this movie, despite all the shitty stuff. It just looks and feels great, but the "plot" is piss poor and completely throw-away.
femiboy34on May 14, 2011 at 9:19 a.m.
I think i would still enjoy this quite a bit.
LazyManon May 14, 2011 at 9:25 a.m.
i have to agree with the half good, while i liked the action and thought it was better then pitch black. it still was lacking in anything particularly memorable. if you were to ask the question,'whats something awesome from the riddick universe?' i would say vin diesel, and those cartoons they made.
