As for Half Blood Prince I re-watched a few hours ago, still annoyed by them leaving out the battle in the castle.
Thanks for saving me having to type anything. Heh! I've seen it twice and I think it's a really good film and switches between the fast paced action elements and slower, closer character-building scenes well. I really like the style David Yates has brought to this series. I am consistently impressed by the way they present Harry's visions, for example.
" Beautiful cinematography, consistently good acting on all sides for once, compelling, mature, great character development, dark yet hilarious, etc. "
Apparently they left that out to avoid repetition when it came to Deathly Hallows, which works for me.

@Icon: I liked the first half, but the wondering, was kind of.... I know it was effect, but it was long, and that dance scene, was...
@mithhunter55: Good point I would have like to see them use the Luck viris to fight death eaters, also i didn't think they needed to light the house on fire, I thought it was 2 much
@stoodspoon: I think this is probably the most underrated of the HARRY POTTER films. I watched it again last winter and I liked it much more the second time. I think that while the first HARRY POTTER film has that sense of wonder and the last one feels truly epic, this is the one that seems most personal. It is sort of a meditation of friendship; there is a lot of time devoted to the characters interacting. And that final scene (with Dobby) makes everyone tear up. In my opinion, that should go down as one of the most moving movie deaths.
