Hellboy 2 brings the creepy monsters from his mind to the big screen and brings it to a blockbuster. At the core Hellboy is a monster movie because the main character Hellboy is a monster and and he saving the humans from the monsters just like him. there is a lot to like avout this movie but it's Del toro's deigns from Pan's comes over here as well just look at his design of Death which i think is amazing and makes this movie special. You also have the monster that grows and is like tree but the golden army are very good looking they have a steam punk look to them which i like.
 
I do like Toro's characters how he writes them and his villian is amazing and this villian came out when heath ledgers joker was the rage and i just liked him as much he does very interesting characters but also makes them funny and that is hellboy he is funny and i do like LIZ who is played by Selma Blair who i am not the biggest fan of her but she is great.
 
The story plots along and Toro sets it out is setting up for another one (i hope there is another one) but the hellboy series is great and there are some great fights in this movie in the underground monster place and the ending fighting with the golden army and the main villian and the themes in this movie are creepy and cool. the creepy monsters but this feels like a creepy monster movie with the big block buster comic book movie and i really loved this movie and thought it was better then the first one and i only like the first one but didnt think it was amazing but i really want another one now.
