I've been waiting some time for this.

@gelatinabomination: Me too! Despite many of them being terrible, I will always watch a new Hellraiser movie.

Nice, epic video.

How the fuck is Hellraiser in The 'Hood not yet a real thing amongst all these movies?

I actually liked the fact that Pinhead became a secondary character and that the stories played out in a twilight zone kind of way with inferno and deader. I'm not a fan of bloodlines though mostly due to the fact that it jumps in time so much.

There is really 8 of these? wow

Thank you for the reviews. I'm sure it was a chore to sit there, watch the DTV movies, and edit them into this video.

As for the films I only watch the first two with the second being the one to which I consistently come back. The resurrection scene on the mattress is one of the more extreme horror scenes I've ever watched. Something must be said of the terrific score for the first two films with emphasis on the epic one for Part 2. Those horror pictures will always be near and dear to my gorehound heart.

Cool video.

Man, this video is gross.

Unfortunately the idea of Hellraiser is far better than the reality (and take that as you will). Ironically the best episode is the original story because it allows your mind to revel in how terrifying the Cenobites and what they stand for are, at least way more than any third rate gore ever could.

As someone who has seen all 8 movies for whatever stupid reason, this video pleases me. Someone else endured my pain! And I'll see 9, too!

Because I'm an idiot.

I can honestly say that the first four Hellraiser movies are some of my favorite gore fests. I have seen every piece of shit that followed and will continue to do so unfortunately. Thanks for the reminder Alex that another awful installment is on its way Alex.

Did anyone else get crazy video glitching near the end of the video?

ProjektGillon Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:43 a.m.

Hellraiser is one of the only horror franchises that I've never seen. I remember always seeing the VHS/DVDs whenever I went to the local video rental place but never picking them up. I will check out the first four hopefully some time in the near future.

WhiskeyAbeon Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:47 a.m.

Yeah it really is quite sad what they have done to the series

IronRinnon Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:49 a.m.

@Alex - I'm with you. I found Bloodline surprisingly enjoyable. Hellbound is still my favorite I think, despite the often times cheesy special effects.

Mentoon Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:49 a.m.

What the.. was that Dennis Duffy the Beeper King in Hellraiser: Hellseeker? He might've been on To Catch a Predator, but at least he never made Liz Lemon solve the Lament Configuration.

scarbeareron Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:51 a.m.

@Alex

I'm just happy to know that I'm not the only one out there that actually though Bloodlines was pretty ok.

Pretty sure I just vomited. That was disgusting and not in the good way. At all.
