Of course it fucking was! *ba-boom-psh* I was into all of the deaths that happened, with giant pillar being a favorite of mine. Yeah, I suppose the last thirty minutes of shooting fools left and right was totally worth the whole movie, but I thought it also had some pretty well-timed irony throughout.
Yes, I agree, Hot Fuzz is, in fact, a good movie.

Yeah I don't think there was any argument against it being anything more than awesome.

i hate the arguements that try to argue for shaun of the de3ad over hot fuzz
hot fuzz is obviously the better movie with an actual story and better action

Well it's not as good as my cop film, RoboCop, but I like Hot Fuzz as well.

I really like the soundtrack. =)

I really liked it, although I thought Shaun of the Dead was better... :p

Edgar Wright has done no wrong in my eyes. I'm really hoping it stays that way.

Shaun was better, but then again the fact that Hot Fuzz can even be compared to it is a great compliment.

It is a fine action movie but just like Shaun of the dead I just didn't find it funny.
But then I also never found Spaced funny.

I didn't think so.

Hell yes. Funny and gory as all Hell, and great performances by Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and Timothy Dalton.

I liked it so much, I bought it on HD-DVD.

Hell yes it is! Still waiting for the third part in Edgar Wright's and Simon Pegg's pegged (teehee) "Blood and Ice cream" trilogy.

You are an incredible oddity then.

I know of no one until now that has been able to say they didn't think Hot Fuzz was an incredible movie.

His opinion is also mine.

Every single second of this movie is utter genius.

If the Oscars would lower themselves to recognise comedies than there's no doubt that this movie would qualify for a 'Best Original Screenplay' Oscar. Because this is one of the tightest, most brilliantly-constructed comedy scripts of modern times.
