House Baratheon is one of the seven Major Houses of Westeros. Their seat is Storms End, though since Robert's Rebellion they have ruled the Seven Kingdoms from King's Landing. The Baratheon's sigil is a stag and their words are "Ours is the Fury."

Part of the justification for Robert Baratheon taking the crown was that Robert's father Steffon was the son of Rhaelle Targaryen, who was the aunt of Aerys II, the Mad King, whom Robert was deposing.
