Average 80's Horror, Nothing More, Nothing Less.

I remember seeing House on basic cable several years ago as a child, and I don't know if I was enthralled with the cheesy 80's special effects, or what it was, but I must have enjoyed it quite a bit back then, because it doesn't live up to my memories ...
