I might be in the minor, but I personally did not hate Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but that doesn't mean I'm all for another Indiana Jones film. Don't you think it's time they put the franchise to rest?

Was a fourth really necessary?

@Pickle:
Sorta, the best part was the hype built around the film.

Not saying much about the actually quality of the film.

I never said it was terrible, but it definitly could have been better.

But was it necessary? Not really if you ask me. Indy 3 ended on the perfect note for the trilogy.

Yeah realistically speaking it probably wasn't necessary.

Indy 4 wasn't necessary, but I enjoyed it well enough. Five is obviously pushing it farther, but whatever, it's not necessary for Bond to have 23 films either but they're still making them and the newest ones have been some of the best in recent memory so yeah.

Yeah but Bond doesn't have 19 year breaks in between (Only 6-4).

Indy 4 was pretty poor. If they continue to make sequels for it, I'm not going to see them.

@Moviemaniac: True. But the gap between Indy 4 and Indy 5 probably won't be that long, I don't think, so it'd be more of a question if Crystal Skull was necessary and uh.

Well I think most everyone will agree that it wasn't.

Four wasn't abysmal, but I'd prefer it if Lucas let the giant rest in peace. Long live, Indy!

None of them are necessary. Horrible trilogy.

Nope, but it'll probably make money anyway.

How dare you say that! Raiders of the Lost Ark is amazing -_- Why don't you like it? If you don't mind me asking.

@mylifeforaiur:   Crap direction. Crap acting. Crap story. Crap.

@TheFreeMan:
I think I already gave my answer on that subject.

@DirrtyNinja:
That's your opinion, so I'm not gonna beat the bush on you.

@Moviemaniac:

Beat away my friend. My arguement will still stand.

Shouldn't they make a fourth Indiana Jones before they make a fifth?
