When I saw the trailer for Iron Man 3, I thought it was going to be a darker interpretation than the other two movies. It turns out that I might be wrong.

Here's the trailer for the movie so you can see where I got that idea from.

Here is what Kevin Feige had to say about the topic

"It's not a serious movie, but we seriously dig into exploring more of Tony," Feige toldThe West Australian (via Coming Soon). "The trick is just trying to make great movies. We try to make them all great, all different and all fresh. What you'll see in Iron Man 3 is some very unique directions that were taken."

Shane Black, the director of the movie also added his comments

Added the film's director Shane Black, "We're not aiming for bigger, necessarily. We're aiming for different and fresh and new. It's all about capturing that lightning-in-a-bottle feel, about trying to get as much into this as we can. We're looking to get a ton of thrills into a short space, to make a nice little stew for you."

Speaking of The Avengers, Feige also recently spoke to the aftermath of that film and how it will relate to Tony in Iron Man 3. "By the end of Avengers, when a portal is opened up in Manhattan and he's met Thor and The Hulk and the Chitauri are coming down on him, he realizes that he doesn't know everything," Feige told Empire Magazine (viaCollider). "We think that has had an effect on his psyche, and then his world is blown out from underneath him."

So what do you guys think?

I admit, from the Trailer alone it had the darker feel to it. But in most cases they show the best scenes of a movie in the trailer. Plus you know the had to raise the bar after following The Avengers .

I thought the trailer was great. Aside from the dark stuff they showed, I've no doubt that it's going to be a fun Superhero movie just like the other two Iron Man films. Maybe, Tony Stark will actually have a worthy villain this time.

Keep in mind, I don't read comic books, I just love these types of movies.
