Jango Fett

Background:

An infamous Mandalorian bounty hunter who is the father of Boba Fett. Jango was also the DNA basis of the clone army formed for the Republic and apart of the Separatist movement.

Major Plots:

Just before the beginning of the Clone Wars, Jango Fett was recruited by Count Dooku to serve the Separatists and be the ideal soldier to help forge a clone army on Kamino. Not only was he the DNA basis but the cloners also copied his Mandalorian armor for the clone trooper armor which eventually evolved into the famous stormtrooper armor. Fett also asked for a clone of his own, with no genetic alterations, to be his son whom he named Boba Fett.

Nearly ten years after he began the cloning process Fett was asked to kill Senator Padme Amidala for the Separatists. When his assassin partner failed in her job and was being interrogated by two Jedi, Jango was forced to kill her to keep his job a secret. The toxic dart he used to kill his partner lead Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to the planet Kamino. When Kenobi arrived on Kamino he discovered the army being built and questioned Jango about what he was doing there. After the questioning Jango knew he needed to leave and gathered his things and Boba and was boarding his ship, Slave 1, when Kenobi discovered him.

The two fought it out on the landing pad but Jango was able to outmaneuver the Jedi enough to escape with his son. Kenobi had placed a homing beacon on Slave 1 and followed the bounty hunter to Geonosis. There Kenobi found Count Dooku and the leaders of the Separatist movement but he was discovered and captured. Soon Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala arrived on Geonosis hoping to help Kenobi out only to be captured themselves. With the three sentenced to death, Jango was on hand to protect Count Dooku and the other leaders. But word had gotten out about the Separatist stronghold and a whole garrison of Jedi arrived just in time to protect and surround those captured. Mace Windu was able to get the advantage on Jango Fett during the battle and Mace killed him.

Personality and Traits:

Like most Mandalorians was a ruthless and relentless soldier which is what helped make him one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. He was very calculating and thoughtful in his attacks and usually motivated by money.
