Jeffrey Jones is a veteran American character actor, most known for his iconic role as 'Principal Ed Rooney' in John Hughes' classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He was also a frequent actor of choice for Tim Burton, until he became a registered sex offender in 2003.
