Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List is a reality TV show that follows the life and career of comedian Kathy Griffin. Each episode normally features a large event as the focal point (usually one of her stand-up shows) and shows her life in the mean time. Kathy is usually shown attending a mix of different events, from the serious (entertaining the troops in Iraq or visiting Walter Reed Medical Center) to the absurd (Gay awards shows and Toddler pageants). Many episodes also feature Kathy's advocacy and entertainment of her favorite demographic: gay men.

The original cast included Kathy's then-husband Matt Moline and her assistant Jessica Zaijcek. Matt would later leave the cast after their divorce, and Kathy's new assistant Tiffany Rinehardt and tour manager Tom Vize joined in season 3, with Zaijcek leaving after season 3. Kathy's parents have also played an important role throughout the series, with several appearances and a season 3 episode revolving around the death of her father, John. Her mother, Maggie Griffin, still plays an important part in the show, with Kathy constantly making reference to her copious consumption of boxed wine and her penchant for wearing muumuu's.
