The Hunger Games return with such a sequel twist that you can't believe writer Suzanne Collins didn't think of film when writing. Catching Fire builds up with all types of subversive messaging which is interesting but also brings into relief the limitations of the genre and film.
Looks like they saved the best for last. This is the second part in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill epic. The first have was alot more action packed, but this movie shows that action isn't needed to make a good movie. With very memorable characters like Pai Mei and Bill (who is finally shown in this one) coupled with sharp, excellent dialogue. I personally think the grave scene is one of the best in the two films, but this movie keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. I recommend both of these films to anyone looking for a fine watch.
