Kilowog is Green Lantern of Space Sector 674, a Corps Drill Sergeant and Geneticist
Kilowog is a fictional character from the DC Comics Universe. He was created by Gil Kane and John Boome that first appeared in Green Lantern #201 in early June 1986. A Green Lantern, and former drill sergeant of Hal Jordan, Kilowog Kilowog was originally at the bottom of his rookie class but with time became the Drill Sergent for the Corps and one of the most powerful Green Lantern in the universe.
Green Lantern: First Flight(2009)
Voiced by Michael Madsen, Kilowog was pomenantly featured in First Flight that told the story of test pilot Hal Jordan and how he was chosen by a dying member of the Green Lantern Corps, Abin Sur, to become Earth's own Green Lantern. Kilowog was one of the Green Lanterns who found Hal Jordan after he gets his ring for the first time. Like in the comics Kilowog does not like Hal at first but slowly sees his potential and backs him up towards the climax of the movie.
Kilowog is the intimidating drill sergeant that trains new cadets for the Green Lantern Corps. Representing a long lineage of Bolovox warrios from the planet Bolovax Vik, he is now the last of his race. Kilowog's tactics are renowned for pushing rookies to their limits and Hal Jordan learns the Hard way that he's no exception to the rule.
