Launch Trailer: Iron Sky

The "motherfucking space Nazis" movie (their words, not mine!) is finally complete, and its director wishes to inform you of a party! That's awfully nice!

I believe it was largely a German production, but I thought they banned all swastikas and stuff over there?

There are a few exceptions. One of them is that Nazi iconography can be used in works of fiction.

Inglorious Basterds was released in Germany without any legal trouble, for example (though they did take the swastika off of the poster in that country), and the movie Downfall was filmed and released in Germany, and the whole thing is about Hitler, and features swastikas out the wazoo.

This looks incredibly awesome and stupid but the director did not have to call his movie "awesome", it seems like his compensating for something.

spilledmilkfactoryon Jan. 25, 2012 at 4:39 p.m.

I have no idea what this is, but it looks amazing

Rhombus_Of_Terroron Jan. 25, 2012 at 4:48 p.m.

Udo Kier, Laibach and Space Nazi's. OH YES!

snake_runneron Jan. 25, 2012 at 4:54 p.m.
