A new trailer was just released for the new Lés Miserables adaptation of the hit Broadway play (which was initially an adaptation of the 1862 novel by French by Victor Hugo) and I'm bummed. I'm not bummed about the movie itself it's just my general demeanor after watching this trailer.

The movie looks good, but we all know that I'm not the biggest fan of Hathaway (If you don't already know the story beware of the following!)

I would have liked to hear more from Seyfried, Jackman, and Crowe in this clip but I'm sure this is just the first of many trailers, featurettes and clips to come!

EDIT: Nearly every version that has been embedded in to an article has been removed for copyright, so it's beginning to make me wonder if this leaked early? Anyways, you can watch the trailer here.

Anne Hathaway is definitely no Susan Boyle when it comes to singing.

I was hoping this was a just an adaptation of the Victor Hugo book and not the musical, which is kinda eh to me.

I'm not sure if it's seeing Anne Hathaway all poor and down in the dumps, as opposed to her being hot, but I just am not interested by her being in the movie.

Still I'm kinda interested in seeing this.

but I like Anne Hathaway.

I also like calling it The Miserables.

I'd take Hathaway over Seyfried ANY DAY. Amanda Seyfried was good at playing a stupid slut whose boobs could tell when it's raining. Haven't enjoyed her in a single thing she's done since.

Although, the grown cosette doesn't do much other then stand around being pretty so, she can't ruin the film too much. Eponine>Cosette.
