Let Me In is the rare vampire film that aspires to be about much more than sucking blood.

This is an adaptation of the same novel that inspired the 2008 Swedish film "Let The Right One In." A bullied young boy named Owen was a nobody until he met his new neighbor Abby, a centuries old vampire with the appearance of a 12 year old.

Trivia:

Let Me In is an adaptation of the Swedish novel: Let the Right One In. Director Matt Reeves also uses the Swedish movie adaptation of the same book as inspiration for several of the scenes and shots seen in Let Me In.
