Mark of the Vampire (Remake)

In 1935, Tod Browning remade London After Midnight and retitled it "Mark of the Vampire". While the film was a remake, certain character names and situations were slightly altered. The film starred Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, and Bela Lugosi.

Reconstruction

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) with the help of Rick Schmidlin reconstructed London After Midnight using still photos and and a script. The "remake" was well-received by critics and horror fans alike.
