Am I gonna hate my life?

I still love the show but don't expect many answers for the many questions raised.

No.  The first season will be a revelation.  It will be maybe the best most emotionally moving and intrigueing television you'll ever see.  From there it will be a mix of good and bad, mostly good.  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll adore the ride.  Some things will stick with you forever, and yeah there might be an episode in season 3 that makes you want to die, but I promise you'll only find about three or four total.

In the final seasons, when the answers start pouring in, you might enjoy it.  You might not, depending on how much stock you put in what answers.  What you'll come away with like Harry Potter or Star Wars or LoTR will touch your soul, and never go away.

Viewing Lost will be one of the greatest TV related decisions in your life.

It will certainly raise your standards as far as TV shows are concerned.

You may suddenly develop the urge to live on a deserted (OR IS IT) island.

it's an experience, for sure. An awesome one, but a frustrating one.

I just started Lost too. I managed to make it part way through season 3 before needing to take a considerable break. So I switched to The Inbetweeners. My advice is to have a stand-by show that you can go to for those times when you need to consider what you just saw on Lost so your mind doesn't explode. I just started season 5 and feel ready for some answers.

it may seem frustrating for awhile but i felt like the end had a great send off and left the viewer with closure
