So I'm confused, are we at a point where staying "from the creator of The Blair Witch Project" does more good or harm?

So... I haven't gotten around to seeing The Blair Witch Project yet. Is it worth watching on account of being a great horror movie, or just because it's such a "big" film?

Guys, I've actually heard some really good things about this movie, like really, really good things. Also, that's one of the most intimidating R ratings I've ever seen.

Based on the name I'm guessing that the twist is that she was on a bad E trip the whole time!

Neither. It didn't live up to the hype when it was in the theaters. If you were to watch it now you would be left scratching her head wondering why it ever was a "thing".

I would say check it out and decide for yourself. Watch it and then watch Rorie's Bestie video on it. I think he pretty much sums up why the movie was great not only when it came out but because it's the reason for the direction of horror movies nowadays (good or bad).

Maybe I'm also feeling way to optimistic, but this could have potential, and I'm just hoping that this trailer is making the flick way more generic and paranormal-activity-rip-off-y than it actually is. I think the big problem with a lot of these types of films is that we never care about or even really know the characters, which takes a lot of the fear out of it. So if this is mainly a really intense, deep, look at this woman in this situation, there could be something special going on.
