M41A Pulse Rifle

The M41A assault rifle was the standard issue rifle for all colonial marines during the 22nd century. Air cooled and gas operated it fires 10x24mm caseless cartridges with an armor piercing, explosive round. Each magazine can hold a total of 99 rounds allowing for extended periods of burst or sustained fire. It also features a 30mm underslung pump action grenade launcher capable of holding four grenades at a time.

Created by British armorers, the M41A was built using a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun with an attachment from a Franchi Spas-12 shotgun, as well as a Remington 12 Gauge Model 870P receiver with barrel. Surrounded by a custom made plastic casing to house the LED counter and cover the magazine.
