Anti-Productivity: Betty Draper is a Bitch of a Mother

In honor of Mad Men's season premiere this Sunday, New York Magazine apparently decided to create this little montage of legendarily awful mother Betty Draper and some of the passive-aggressive statements she says to her kids over the course of the show. I, for one, am in complete favor of this. I HATE Betty Draper. If that woman was my mother, I'd have run off and joined the circus years ago.

Betty is crazy. Watch season 4 premier and see Betty force feed Sally at a Thanksgiving dinner in front of everybody. Ridiculous. She's just a pissed off child herself

I'm one of the few people who doesn't find Betty annoying. Most parents were probably similar to that during the 60's.  Although, her childish behavior makes me lol.

If you think shes bad, try spending timw with my girlfriend's mother. She a little more agressive, but much of the same type mother. Emotionally abusive, and dismissive as well. She yelled at my girlfriend for calling the police when Jon ( my girlfriend's brother) got in a fight and strangled her.

In her defense, Sally Draper is fat.

Well, Sally only seems to be fat because Betty is forcing food down her throat. lol 
 
I feel bad for those kids. (and the little girl that plays Sally does an amazing job.) They love Don so much more than Betty. And Don's not a very good father. :( I mean, he's a GOOD father, but only when he feels like it, not when he needs to be.    
 
I can't wait until next Sunday. Shit's gonna be great.
