Film vs Reality
The character Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network is largely fictional. His mannerisms and motivations, while based partially on reality, are mostly the creation of the film's screenwriter, Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin himself has admitted publicly that he was not aiming for realism in his portrayal of the film's characters, preferring to focus on a well-told story instead.
