Overview

Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant is one of two special one shot films produced by Marvel and was released on 9/13/2011 in the United States as a direct to video short film. It takes place in the timeline after the conclusion of the Iron Man 2, Thor, and The Incredible Hulk story lines and takes place before the beginning of the upcoming Avengers story line.
