We'll do a Ramblin' Rorie sometime this week (maybe on Saturday), so if you're a PREMIUM WHISKEY MEMBER, leave your questions below and I'll try to be SOBER ENOUGH to ANSWER THEM.
Why does this video not involve kittens and a crap ton of catnip?
HI Matt, strange Star Wars Question for you: For everyone who watched the original trilogy prior the the prequels, the revelation that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father is a massive shock, but any young fans who have watched them for the first time in numerical order knows that ahead of time. So what is the shocking twist in the Star Wars plot for them? I think its the Clones killing Jedi, since in Ep2, the Clone Wars cartoons, and the early part of Ep3 they are loyal and even chummy with the Jedi right up until the order to gun 'em down.
Hola! As an avid MMO person, do you have any attraction to Star Wars: The Old Republic or could you not care any less, also as a second and last question, do you think Screened could have any sort of an awards show type thing in the foreseeable future? Cheers and thanks!
Please forgive me if this was already answered, but does Screened's "Eye" icon have an origin like Giant Bomb's "Bomb" icon and Tested's "Face" icon does?
If it was already answered, replace that one with this question: How do you feel about Screened now that the site's been over a year old?
Bike Talk! What bike do you ride, groupset? Do you use it other then commuting? Recreation(favourite routes in SF), grocery shopping? Any cross country or downhill experience? Ever consider fenders for that mud problem you mentioned before? I'm an avid cyclist and so many people at Whiskey seem to commute but no one ever talks about their bikes other then the fact that they ride, lets have some bike talk.
@Beomoose: There's a really great series of articles Drew McWeeny did over at Hitfix as he takes his two young sons through Star Wars for the first time in 4-5-1-2-3-6 order and writes about how it effects them. It's very much worth a read. The Return of the Jedi article is here and you can find the others by the links at the bottom of the page. Spoiler: the movies can be even more effective with six of them if you see them at the right age. It's one of the best pieces of long form movie essays I've seen in a long time, so give it a look.
