Peter Parker's Aunt, she raised him after his parents died. Still helped Peter even after the death of her husband.
Aunt May raised Peter Parker after his parents died. Soon after Peter gained his powers her husband Ben was killed by a robber. Despite her husbands untimely death she still tried to help Peter, unknowing of his new found powers.
In Spider-Man 2, she was captured by Doctor Octopus when the villain robbed a bank, although she was rescued by Spider-Man.
