A group of delinquent teenagers forced to take-part in community service suddenly gain superpowers after a freak lightning storm. The gang must come together and try to control their new abilities; whilst also fending off others affected by the storm.
It's a body-swap. They must have switched places.
Oh my god! This is like that film, with Nicholas Cage in. "FACE-OFF"!
"FACE-OFF" wasn't a body-swap. They did surgery to look like each other. This is more like "FREAKY FRIDAY".

In Season 1 we are introduced to our main cast serving community service for crimes ranging from drug use to trying to burn someone's house down, when very abruptly a scarily heavy storm begins to thrash ice towards the city. Eventually the Misfits, as well as their probation worker, are hit by the storm and pass out before awakening to the end of the storm. As time goes on they discover they each are developing superpowers based on their personality, from the criminally shy Simon developing invisibility to the self-conscious chav Kelly becoming telepathic, and are forced to kill their rage-induced probation worker; his anger management issues being turned into some demonic ability as the storm affects him. What follows is a mixture of the teens trying to avoid being convicted of murder as well as being forced to deal with the results of the storm on others, climaxing in the finale episode with them stopping staunch young catholic girl brainwashing the world into her very safe, conservative beliefs. Nathan, the smarmy irish Misfit, takes her down but also dies in the process. The series ends on a glum note as the remaining Misfits realise life needs to just go on.
Season 2 reveals that Nathan had the power of Invincibility, something that for obvious reasons he hadn't discovered previously, and after waking up a couple weeks after his death, finds himself trapped in a coffin underground. Meanwhile, a strange hooded figure referred to as Superhoodie begins to stalk the Misfits and drops them hints to visit the graveyard, where Kelly uses her telepathy to discover Nathan's plight. After freeing him, the season begins as we discover that in the weeks succeeding Nathan's death, more and more people have come to realise their abilities; a shapeshifting obsessive fan of Simon, a video-game-logic infused teen infused with the belief the Misfits are holding his girlfriend hostage, a milkman taunted for his ability of 'lactokinesis' (control of milk) and many more. Season 2 ends on it's Christmas Episode as, after community service ends, the Misfits sell their abilities for money after realising the careers for ASBO teens are grim. When a man who calls himself Jesus Christ begins to buy out the powers of many people, the Misfits realise they need to stop him and get their powers back so they might be able to protect the city from crooks like him. As they stop him and take the money he laundered due to his powers, they intend to buy back their powers only to discover they can in fact take any power they wish from the power dealer. Things are left uncertain as Kelly offers up her hand to be given a power.
In Season 3 introduces a new character called Rudy who has emotionally induced duplication acts a replacement for Nathan (his absense is explained in an internet exclusive episode). Each character displays their new powers, Kelly has highly increased intelligence, Simon has Precognition, Alisha can view the world from another person's eyes and Curtis can swap gender. The series centers on the power dealer called Seth and his relationship with Kelly, which ultimately succeeds after an invasion of zombie cheerleaders and an alterate version of history where Nazis are in power. In the season finale a medium brings back the spirits of people that have been killed. This leads the catholic leader called Rachel from Season 1 to have revenge upon Alisha and slices her throat. After this turn of events Simon turns back time and becomes Superhoodie to live the events made in Season 1 and 2.
