I just caught up with the whole of 3rd season, and they've done some amazing episodes so far. Even with Nathan missing this season (I had to watch the last ep of Season 2 and it's still not explained why he's missing), Rudy has been a great "replacement" especially with his power and comedy relief. The Nazi alternate timeline was mind-blowing. Female Curtis episode left my dick very confused. And the show just taught me how to steal a comatose patient from a hospital!

If you've never watched the show, it's basically normal people with powers like Heroes but not shit or losing its way.

I'm sure fans are going nuts over no Nathan, but I haven't checked those forums :P

There was a mini-episode they put up online explaining where Nathan went, he's in Las Vegas but I can't remember quite why he didn't come back. Here's a link to the mini-ep, think it might be UK only though. I'm really liking series 3, Rudy is a great character, really funny. I like the way the story's going as well.

While I like this season so far I still miss Nathan he was by far the best character in the show and I cant quite get over their powers this season with the exception of Rudy and Curtis the rest of the seem quite useless and their hardly used.

Regarding the shit powers, that's the joke :P It's always interesting how the writers will use the dumb powers for good use in the plot.

Anyone not in UK, you can see Nathan's exploits in Las Vegas here. After watching that and the punchline at the end, I'm satisfied. I'm pretty sure Nathan will return someway in a future season, and I don't mind waiting because Rudy as "the new guy" is awesome and the 2 sides bring out his great acting.

I love Season 3 !!

I don't miss Nathan at all, I love him as a character, but the show hasn't suffered with his departure. Rudy is so funny! and Joseph Gilgun is a really good actor!

I hate how Alisha is very under-used lately! everyone else has had their own central episode except for her. And at times when her power would be so useful, they just don't use it!

I guess the only downfall is the new powers, they are hardly used at all! It would've been nice to progress with their old powers instead of giving them new ones. Atleast the old ones had symbolism with them.

Episode 7: "Fuckin' cheerleaders!"

So much fun! XD It's best if I don't spoil it. Rudy's the best.

I miss the symbolism, I liked the way their powers were manifestations of their insecurities, the whole power-dealer guy just kind of shat on that. I guess it was too much of a burden for the writers.

Yeah, their insecurities or their personalities personified, it was cool that way! Now they just literally have a random bunch of powers. Damn Seth the super-hot power dealer :(

Ehh, that's kind of a trope for many superpower shows and movies. The shy guy always gets the invisibility power, the hot-headed guy gets some fire thing, Captain Planet, Power Rangers bla bla etc.

Personally, I like the random powers because it makes the writers work harder to get a cohesive plot of who does what to overcome the situation. Plus, it makes the show more unpredictable. More MacGyver.

Also, Rudy and Simon have had such great dialogue together, enough for me to put their quotes up on the Quotes page.

Jesus Christ, this is the best show on television. I have no idea how this doesn't get on Channel 4 proper. If there's any U.S dudes reading, seek this show out now.

Episode 8

Misfits Season 3 Episode 8
Misfits Season 3 Episode 8

HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Did that just happen?! My jaw is literally agape right now!

Wow was my body not ready for this, didn't even realise it was a season finale!

It was quite awesome to see the probation workers again, loved the medium being the crazy doctor from Green Wing! Seeing super religious Rachel get drunk, horny, blazed, and then puke was hilarious.

Seeing Alisha get slashed across the neck and bleeding profusely, jeez was that grisly. Forgot how much UK shows can get away with.

Nathan, even for a few seconds! :D

So are Simon and Alisha stuck in some sort of time bittersweet time loop? How can you leave us on such a crazy cliffhanger?!
