MasterPr0phet "Moon" Is A Modern Science Fiction Masterpiece.

"Moon" is a modern science fiction masterpiece.  It goes in a direction in which you wouldn't expect it to, and it sets the bar for modern science fiction.I've always been a fan of what I like to call "The One Man Show Film", and throughout the years, we've seen the ...

Daemon A breath of fresh air for the science-fiction genre

Title - Moon (2009)  Director - Duncan Jones Country - United Kingdom This film really surprised me a great deal. It was a broadly paced character study set in a lo-fi sci-fi atmosphere. It was sophisticated, visually interesting, and deeply engaging in the way that the film slowly ...

BagronkeN Low key, high aim

A different and low-key sci-fi film, utterly brilliant and amazing. A serious plot inside a seriously cramped space. Sam Rockwell continues to impress, wringing out superb acting, twice over. Duncan Jones delivers a subtle but powerful direction, surely someone to look out for in the future.

Drumtasticnick 2001, it's not. It's better.

If you think you're watching another 2001: A Space Odyssey, you'd be not far off...but wrong.   Moon blends sci-fi with psychomatic tendancies as Sam Bell is faced with life in solitude on the desolate face of the Moon. His only job is to keep everything running smoothly at the Lunar ...

holabendez Interesting film with a clever premise.

An interesting little film with a clever premise. I wasn’t sure if the film was actually trying to play itself as having a twist as the reveal comes relatively early in the film. I did feel that perhaps it could’ve done more with the concept, but it was still an ...

Adrenaline Moon

In some ways Moon is a very simple movie, though for the most part I think it works in its favor. The cast is quite small, with the main character played by Sam Rockwell, and the only substantial role besides that being a voice performance by Kevin Spacey as his ...
