Mulan is the animated movie about Fa Mulan, a young woman who must pose as a man to join the imperial army in place of her injured father. Mulan is the 36th animated film by Walt Disney and came out during the Disney Renaissance.
The story of Mulan had been told in China for almost 1,500 years before Disney picked it up and made it into a movie.
