My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Forum

So I was playing TF2 when my brother walks in and says "Paul, the world has ended." I ask, "why?" He tells me that Steven Colbert had totally said "brony" on the latest episode of the Colbert Report. 
 
     
 
"Kewl", me thought. Immediately told the server I was on the news. Didn't undertsand the reaction because:
a) I was/am drunk.
b) They were all shouting different variations of "OH MY GOD" over the mic at once.
 
A part of me wants to believe that he just said a combination of "bro" and "pony" to go with his horse riding gesture but... no way. I don't think the truth can be avoided. Steven Colbert just acknowledged that there is a whole demographic of dudes, bros, and guys who like to watch the adventures of Twilight Sparkle. Every moment this show gets popular, I think some fabric of the universe is unraveled. I mean, this can't get anymore popular.... right?

Paulrus, you are the lone pony representative on Screened. Screened could definitely use some more "bronies".

The Colbert shout-out was awesome, by the way. It's too bad it was most likely the result of a writer just explaining him the phenomenon.

I seriously don't get, and am entirely creeped out by, the idea of men seriously liking that cartoon. Its as bad as grown men liking Twilight.

Quite possibly. I, myself, was expecting that if this thing ever got mentioned on the show it would be on the Threat Down. More appropriate.

Fans of Adventure Time and Regular Show need their own catchy name. At least I can watch those shows without people thinking I am a pedophile.
