Huh, it's odd of the Golden Globes to add (Masterpiece) next to one of the nominations. I wonder why they'd do that...

...

...

...

OH.

Seriously though, I haven't seen many of the films nominated, largely because of UK January Releases, but when the so-so hollywood schmaltz of Silver Linings Playbook gets all this love, and the infinitely superior Ruby Sparks, that actually lives up to the depth of it's premise, gets nothing then I don't know what's going on!

And everyone knows Bryan Cranston was far and away the best supporting actor in Argo, not Alan Arkin.

Nothing too surprisings except for the The Newsroom love though I enjoyed Daniels performance. Also The Hour season 1 is pretty bad just not going anywhere and than revelations that I do not care about.

Too many of those films aren't out yet, and it makes me uncomfortable every year knowing that a film doesn't have to be theatrically released by the time of nominations to receive an nomination.

Dig Deeper into Argo

Based on the true story of how the CIA fakes a large scale film production in order to rescue six ambassadors during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis.
