Deadline is reporting that Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell are all coming back to reprise their original roles for Anchorman 2: Silly Subtitle Yet To Be Announced. Adam McKay is back on board, as well, to write and direct, with Judd Apatow producing. No word on David Koechner, but, well, it's David Koechner and I can't see him passing up an opportunity to come back and be in a movie with three of the biggest names in comedy. Also no word on Christina Applegate, but I have a feeling that they'll be doing the James Bond route of finding another love interest for San Diego's favorite anchor.
This has been in the works for a long time, but obviously salaries are going to be big for the three main stars, and finding time in everyone's schedule must also be pretty crazy. I'll update this story with more info as it comes.

WHAT ARE WE YELLING ABOUT !?!?!?!
I STILL LOVE LAMP!
I LOVE CARPET!!!
TITS!
I can't wait. Easily one of my favorite comedies from the last 10 years or so.
I'M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!
DON'T YOU KNOW I WOULD NEVER SAY THE WORK FUCK(YES)?!?!
Anchorman quotes, they're coming.
Hey guys, I've never seen Anchorman... :D
I get the feeling people are excited.
If Applegate can't be in it (which I would be really disappointed by as I thought she balanced out the dude element nicely), who would you guys want to see as the girl?
LOUD NOISES
Exciting. Now go fuck yourself, San Diego.
IT'S SO DAMN HOT....MILK WAS A BAD CHOICE.

I thought Applegate was great and I hope she's back. I just have a feeling they'll go another direction.
Emma Stone would be the obvious choice.
I ate a big red candle.
Yes. YES
FUCKING YES!
This is frigging great news!
I am so tired of sequels...
Yet I am psyched about this
HELL YES

Being the biggest fan of Emma Stone on this site, I disagree. I think she's too young, but then again that might make it funnier if Ron is in love with her.
I was thinking older like Kristen Wiig or something.
