Having a few days away from the Emmys I think this year's awards were actually pretty good. Sure there were some big omissions and the occasional moment that left you wondering what someone was thinking. But overall the show seemed to give the trophy out to those who deserved it the most. I do agree with the notion mentioned in the video about House of Cards. I wonder if it being on Netflix meant the company didn't know how to successfully run an Emmys campaign? Or was the release of an entire season at once mean the show was forgotten more quickly over time?
